Wipeout 28 is a ready to use microbial sanitiser & cleaner that is highly effective against a wide spectrum of bacteria and viruses including Corona Virus and has been independently tested to have 28-day residual efficacy.
How does it work – Unlike standard sanitisers that offer a kill from 1 minute to 5 minutes on contact but leave the surface open to contamination immediately afterwards, Wipeout 28 kills viruses, bacteria and fungi including Corona virus in 30 seconds making it one of the fastest acting sanitisers available and continues to protect the surface for up to 28 days. Wipeout 28 creates a biostatic layer which viruses, bacteria and fungi can’t penetrate and multiply on.
The Science – Wipeout 28 is independently tested to EN1276, EN13727, EN14476 and EN1650. Some of the strains it has been tested against are Coronavirus, H1N1, Campylobacter, Enterococcus, Pneumonia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Legionella, Listeria, Candida & Aspergillus. Independent testing was done by Commercial Microbiology, Aberdeen, Scientific Services, Lincolnshire, Rowett Institute, Aberdeen & Blu Test Laboratories, Glasgow. Residuality testing was carried out by Scientific Services, Lincolnshire, in order to successfully show residual efficacy it had to prove that the product was still effective on the surface against any of the above bacterial or viral strains after a given period of time. This was carried out against E.Coli and Listeria monocytogenes, and it was confirmed that the product remained effective after 28 days.
How to use – Wipeout 28 is ready to use to avoid any incorrect dilution that could affect efficacy and can be used by wiping, mopping, and spraying on to any surface, it is a light to medium duty cleaner as well as sanitiser. However, for maximum coverage we advise that the product is lightly sprayed, misted or fogged on to vertical and horizontal surfaces, this can deliver up to 150 sq/meters per litre at an effective thickness of 40 microns. This makes it a highly cost effective while covering and giving 28-day residual protection to up to 1500 sq/meters per 2x5lt box. One box of 2x5lt could clean then sanitise for up to 28 days 750 average desks at a cost of under 32p a desk, or 6000 average door plates at less than 4p a plate.
When and where to use – This can be used on a periodic 4 weekly (28 day) clean basis but can also be used as part of a daily or weekly routine if hygiene levels are key. The product can be used on all surfaces, including touch points and vertical surfaces like walls and is also ideal for spraying on higher level areas to help combat airborne pathogens. Ideal for use in office, education, leisure, hospitality and industry, wherever there is a risk of cross contamination through surface contact this will help remove the threat. It has been designed to be used in conjunction with the OES microbial 4 stage system to give the ultimate level of protection.
