Lime Sustainable Supplies is proud to announce that we have once again been recognised on the international stage, winning the award for helping the environment at the 2025 Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice.
Competing against more than 1,000 nominations, our project “Collaboratively Working to Deliver Real CO₂ Savings” impressed judges in the Service Industries sector and Carbon Reduction category, recognising the measurable impact achieved through our sustainability partnership with Breanheath and their client, Booking.com.
On 17 November 2025, we were honoured to attend a glittering awards ceremony at the House of Lords, Palace of Westminster, where our team collected the trophy and certificate hosted by Phil Williams, a proud moment for everyone at Lime Sustainable Supplies.
At the heart of this award is a true environmental collaboration. This award celebrates a genuine environmental partnership. Working alongside Breanheath, and supporting their client Booking.com, we helped transform their site’s operational footprint through transparent product data, independent Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs), and behaviour-changing sustainability reporting.
Together, we introduced environmentally friendly cleaning products, analysed their impact through LCAs, and implemented data-driven monthly reporting to support continuous improvement. Through this system, clients can make informed product decisions based on Scope 4 CO₂ savings, single-use plastic reduction, and measurable ESG outcomes.
This approach not only made sustainability visible and actionable, it empowered the client to reduce impact at scale.
The Green Apple Award judges praised the collaboration for turning sustainability ambition into meaningful progress:
“This three-way collaboration turns ESG ambition into measurable progress: life-cycle-assessed products, visual reporting, and reward schemes drive behaviour change. Results include major CO₂ reductions, plastic elimination, and living-wage alignment across the extended supply chain. The programme’s clarity and cadence enable confident decision-making, and its success is now being scaled to new customers for compounding environmental benefits.”

The Green Apple Awards, established in 1994, are among the UK’s most respected environmental recognitions. Being selected once is an achievement; being recognised again reflects the consistency and integrity of the work our team delivers every day.
