Last week, Lime Supply had the opportunity to attend the highly anticipated Manchester Cleaning Show of 2024. It was an event that brought together professionals from the cleaning industry to discuss the latest trends, innovations, and challenges. As a company committed to providing high-quality cleaning supplies whilst prioritising sustainability, we were eager to explore how the industry is approaching eco-friendly practices.
The show was abuzz as cleaning experts from all over the country gathered to exchange ideas and showcase their products and services. It was a great chance for Lime Supply to connect with like-minded professionals and learn from their experiences. One of the highlights of our visit was attending the panel discussion on sustainability in the cleaning industry.
The panel consisted of industry leaders who shared their insights on how businesses can adopt more environmentally friendly practices. They discussed just some of the products and processes that will enable the cleaning sector to move forward to an efficient, effective and sustainable future. Simaltaneously, they confronted the ever-expanding greenwashing market.
From using eco-certified cleaning products, to implementing efficient waste management strategies. The panelists emphasised the importance of making sustainability a priority in the goal to reach net-zero by 2050.We also had the opportunity to explore the exhibition area, where numerous companies displayed their sustainable cleaning solutions. It was inspiring to see the wide range of innovative products and technologies that are being developed to minimise the environmental impact of cleaning processes.
From energy-efficient cleaning equipment to biodegradable cleaning agents, the exhibition showcased plenty of options for businesses looking to make a positive change.
Throughout the cleaning show, Lime Supply made valuable connections with professionals who share our passion for sustainability. We exchanged ideas, discussed best practices, and even collaborated on potential future projects.
It was promising to see the collective dedication of individuals and organisations towards building a greener and more sustainable cleaning industry. Managing Director, Matt Burtinshaw, was in attendance at the show on both days at the CSSA stand. Ready to talk about how their Northern Community group can help businesses succeed, whilst delving into Lime’s own sustainable supply options.Attending this event was not only informative but also a lot of fun. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, encouraging open conversations, coupled with a fostering sense of community. Lime were able to connect with people from various sectors of the industry from facility managers to cleaning service providers, subsequently learning from their diverse perspectives.
Overall, our experience at the Manchester Cleaning Show was both enlightening and inspiring. It reinforced our belief that sustainability should be at the forefront of every business’s agenda.
As Lime Supply continues to grow and evolve, we are committed to incorporating sustainable practices into every aspect of our operations. We are excited to be a part of a community that is driving positive change in the cleaning industry, and look forward to future events where we can further contribute to this important cause.
